Respect In Sport
Edmonton Ringette is excited to announce that we are offering the “RESPECT IN SPORT” online program this season for both parents and coaches.
This online program is growing in popularity with many different sport organizations and is universal in its application to each sport whether it be swimming, soccer, hockey or ringette. The primary function of the program is to put sport into perspective.
For the 2014/2015 season it is not mandatory that it be completed for your child to play. However, for the 2015/2016 season one parent per family will be required to provide a program certification number to register your child to play.
The parent program is a one time cost of $12 + GST payable on the website upon beginning the course. After completion you will continue to have access to the websites contents and forms. The online program takes approximately 60-90 minutes to complete and it can be done in one sitting or you can do it slowly by completing one module at a time. The coach program is also a one time cost of $30 + GST payable on the website upon beginning the course. Once Edmonton ringette receives your certification number and receipt of payment at firstname.lastname@example.org
we will reimburse the full amount to you. Like the parent program you will still have access to all the coaching tools that can be found on the website after completion. This online program takes approximately 3 hours to complete and again you do not need to finish it all at once as it the site will remember where you left off when you log out. PLEASE NOTE: If you already have a certification number for either the parent or coach program from another association you DO NOT need to take the course again we will accept that number, simply forward the number to email@example.com
and we will add the number to your childs profile.
