Ringette Alberta has recently published its RETURN TO RINGETTE GUIDELINES. This season will be much different than seasons in the past so we ask for everyone's patients during this time as we construct our policies and procedures for this season. Rules on cohort formation will require many more volunteers (coaches) than in the past.

Information about how games and practices will be conducted are almost complete and the information will come out very soon. Alberta Health Services has provided us guidelines we must follow. The EFCLRA,  together with guidance from RAC, RAB, and BGL, will participate cohorts of 50 people for this season’s play. Due to how cohorts will operate and the numbers of teams, players, officials, and coaches allowed in a cohort, we will be forming more teams with smaller rosters this year. Sports cohorts will require you to commit to ONLY 1 sports cohort as a time. We know this will be a challenge for some coaches who coach multiple teams, referee and play themselves. We will need to expand our volunteer base.

Each team we form in a cohort will require 2 coaches. I know you all have many questions, especially about cohorts. I respectfully ask that you hold off on asking me specific questions regarding cohorts until our official EFCLRA statement. If you have questions about participating in multiple cohorts, you may call me or send me an email.

Some coaching courses have already begun. Please refer to COACHING COURSES AND SCHEDULES for updates.
