Powerskating Registration Now Open for 2026/27 Season

Edmonton Ringette is excited to announce that registration is now open for the Fall/Winter Powerskating Program, delivered in partnership with Mel Thomas Performance.

Designed to help athletes sharpen their stride and elevate their game, this high-tempo program focuses on developing key skating skills including speed, edge control, agility, balance, and overall skating efficiency. Players will benefit from consistent, individual-focused instruction aimed at building confidence and strong skating fundamentals throughout the season.

The program will run at Crestwood Arena over 11 biweekly sessions from September 22 to February 16, with two age-specific groups:

  • 2016-2019 birth years: 5:15-6:15 PM
  • 2013-2015 birth years: 6:30-7:30 PM

Open exclusively to EFCLRA athletes, this program offers a valuable development opportunity in a structured, high-quality training environment led by experienced powerskating professionals.

Spots are limited, and families are encouraged to register early to secure their place or join the waitlist if a group fills.
