Welcome to the U10 Division of Edmonton Ringette - where fun, friendship, and skill development come together on the ice! Whether your child is just starting out or building on their ringette experience, our U10 program is designed to foster a love for the game while helping athletes grow in confidence and teamwork.
The U10 Division is divided into three developmental steps:
Each step is tailored to meet players where they are, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all athletes.
Children's Ringette in Alberta encompasses programs for players up to U12, focusing on skill development, fun, and age-appropriate play. It includes Active Start (ages 0-6), U10, and U12 levels, with an emphasis on smaller ice surfaces (cross-ice and half-ice) for younger players to maximize participation and skill development. U10 Step 3 and U12 players transition to full ice and conclude their season with a regional/league championship.

Hello Parents,
As your U10 Co-Directors, we're excited to kick off another fantastic season! To help streamline communication, the U10 Step 1 and 2 Co-Directors share a single email address and the U10 Step 3 Director has her own.
Here's how it works:
If you're unsure who to contact, feel free to keep your email subject line general - one of us will reply as soon as possible. Once evaluations are complete and your child is placed in Step 1, 2, or 3, please include the appropriate Step # in your email subject line so your message reaches the right director quickly.
We're looking forward to an exciting season filled with growth, teamwork, and most importantly - FUN!
Warm regards,
Steve Amrhein, Keith Spannenberg-Geise & Karly Veenstra
