Welcome to the U10 Division of Edmonton Ringette - where fun, friendship, and skill development come together on the ice! Whether your child is just starting out or building on their ringette experience, our U10 program is designed to foster a love for the game while helping athletes grow in confidence and teamwork.
The U10 Division is divided into three developmental steps:
Each step is tailored to meet players where they are, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all athletes.
Children's Ringette in Alberta encompasses programs for players up to U12, focusing on skill development, fun, and age-appropriate play. It includes Active Start (ages 0-6), U10, and U12 levels, with an emphasis on smaller ice surfaces (cross-ice and half-ice) for younger players to maximize participation and skill development. U10 Step 3 and U12 players transition to full ice and conclude their season with a regional/league championship.

Edmonton Ringette U10 Step 1 will operate "in-house" for the 2026-2027 season with regular ice times each week.
Edmonton Ringette U10 Step 2 and U10 Step 3 will be part of the Black Gold Ringette League, with games potentially played against teams from Red Deer and Lacombe and north as far as Fort McMurray. U10 Step 2 will be half ice games from October to December (session 1) and then move to full-ice games in mid-December with the start of session 2.
