We believe that safety goes beyond physical well-being; it includes emotional and psychological safety, respect, and inclusion.

We proudly support Ringette Canada’s Safe Sport framework and adhere to the standards set by Ringette Alberta and the Responsible Coaching Movement.

🧠 Education & Screening Requirements

All coaches, team staff, and board executives must take:

  • Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Commitment to the Rule of Two

Coaches are required to take additional training, based on the level they are coaching. More information is available on the Ringette Alberta website.

These requirements help ensure a safe and accountable environment for all participants.
