Edmonton’s ringette community is gearing up for a lively morning on April 11, 2026, when families are invited to a free Come Try Ringette session designed to introduce new players to the sport. Running from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., the event offers kids a chance to get on the ice, learn basic skills, and experience the fast, team-focused style that defines ringette.
Coaches and volunteers will guide participants through skating, passing, and shooting drills in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment. Equipment will be available for newcomers, making it easy for families to simply show up and give the sport a try.
The event is part of a broader effort to grow ringette in Edmonton, where local associations continue to see strong interest from young athletes looking for a supportive, high-energy team experience.
