Spring Skating and Skills 2026: Two Development Programs Announced

Jan. 19, 2026

Edmonton Ringette is excited to launch Spring Skating and Skills 2026, featuring two focused development opportunities designed to help young athletes strengthen their skating, sharpen their skills, and build confidence heading into next season.

Debbie Klatt Power Skating

A favourite among families, the Debbie Klatt Power Skating series returns this spring with five high-quality sessions for U10 and U12 athletes. Players will work on stride efficiency, balance, edge control, and overall skating power through targeted instruction across multiple Edmonton arenas.
Registration for ER families opens January 24 at 9:00 AM, with general registration beginning January 31 if space remains.

Speed, Skills & Smarts with 200 Ringette

For athletes seeking a broader development experience, the Speed, Skills & Smarts program offers six weeks of power skating, ringette-specific skills, and game-strategy training. Designed for players born 2012-2016, the program also includes four goalie-specific sessions with a dedicated goalie coach.
Registration opens to ER families January 24 at 9:00 AM, with general registration starting January 31.

Both programs provide high-impact instruction from experienced coaches and are expected to fill quickly. Families are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. Click here for more information.
