Social Media Challenge for Edmonton Ringette's Silver Ring Tournament

November 22-24, 2024 #SilverRing24

Have your team try to hit all the photo spots listed below!

2 points awarded for each full team photo submitted. 1 point for partial team photos. Team with the most points wins a $100 Booster Juice gift card.

Submit your team photos to socialmedia@edmontonringette.com (mailto:socialmedia@edmontonringette.com) with your team’s name. Photo submissions may be displayed on Edmonton Ringette’s social media pages (Instagram/Facebook). All submissions will need to be in by Saturday, November 23 at 7pm. Winning team will be contacted by email on Sunday. Tie breakers will go to a random draw.

-Team Bonding Activity

-West Edmonton Mall landmark (any attractions: pirate ship, Galaxyland, Waterpark, etc)

-Team cheering on their coach at the Coaches’ game

Frequently Asked Questions

What rinks we will be playing at?

We will be scheduling games at Terwillegar Rec Centre and Kinsmen Twin Arenas.

Will there be a merchandise supplier on site?

Yes! Express Yourself Creations will be onsite at Terwillegar Rec Centre with tournament and ringette merchandise/swag on Friday November 22 and Saturday November 23 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. She will also be open Sunday November 24 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Is there a coach game?

Yes! A coach game will take place on Saturday, November 23. 2024 from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM at Terwillegar Arena A.

Players encouraged to make signs, gather all the noise makers and come prepared to cheer on their coaches!

Will there be Heart & Hustle awards for the round robin games?

Yes! Heart & Hustle awards will be provided for each team for each round robin game (4). The coach of each team will be able to choose their recipient themselves. This will not take place on the ice- but can occur in the locker room post games.

Is there tournament swag provided for each team?

Canadian Brewhouse has generously provided a pizza party for each team during the tournament in place of tournament swag. The information was emailed out to all teams' tournament contacts.
